I don’t like a lot of attention. I usually go for the more neutral colors like gray or black. I have a really good deal on a 2023 SR5 Tundra with everything that I want on it, except the color. For those of you who have the lunar rock color, can you tell me your experience with it. It seems too ostentatious for me and my preferences. Since I am looking at the third gen tundra, I know that it will stand out, but then, adding lunar rock color on top of that seems pretty significant, as opposed to just getting a gray or black tundra. Maybe I’m overthinking it. Has anyone else struggled with similar when purchasing their tundra?

Resale value might be higher since it is a highly sought out color...that is in my considerations also.

My wife has a 2022 Lunar Rock 4Runner. I've got a 2020 Voodoo Blue Tundra. I'd say that her color gets a few less "oohs" than my truck does. It's a unique color but not exactly 'in your face.' It's kind of a 'concrete turquoise' understated color. I'd totally go for it for that reason + the resale value thing.

Look here. I am ugly, old, overweight, but I still got hair. I bought a tundra in luna rock. Like you I wanted gray because I have enough trouble deflecting attention away in these reading glasses I have to use to get on this here world wide web.

I can't get gas, cant get through the drive thru winder, can't go in Wal-mart or nothin without people wanted to get inside and staring at me. Truthfully, after 53 years I feel like a total rock-star. My wife be getting all mad at the attention I be gettin, but she likes a rock-star.

No seriously. I am just like you. I assume to disappear and never be noticed. I ended up with luna rock, and I might have had 2 people comment on it at a gas station. There are so many other makes/models that have a similar color, it doesn't stand out like it used to, and I really don't get much more attention. If it has what you want, get it.

I was thinking of trading in my platinum for a lunar rock SR5. I love that color. It’s $6200 off msrp but the interior is gray not black.

it’s a great color and looks really good in the gen 3

AVS vent covers on all four doors, Red Tundra letters on front bumper & TRD highlighted in Red on front grille. Tailgate Tundra Letters in Black.
    Um ya!

Lunar Rock is a unique color. I’ve owned my Tundra since Aug. and I get a lot of positive feedback from the Lunar Rock color. I do recall someone making a comment on here and they called it “Cemint” It’s the new Cement replacement color Lol!

The Lunar Rock color looks more green on sunny days and cloudy days it looks more grayish.

I would get the Lunar Rock color.

I've had a silver tundra, then a blazing blue tundra that I lifted, and now a LR sequoia. The LR is a nice one off color, but not near as bold or loud as a bright blue, orange, red, etc.
It is usually mentioned by enthusiasts or curious onlookers, but not near like it was with my blue.
It's more rare, so it may be more desirable by others later. I'm not too concerned with that tho.
I think it hides dirt fairly well too. I like to keep mine washed and have noticed it hides dirt/grime pretty well too.

    Toyota should’ve called it Cemint.

I think cement and lunar rock are “trendy” colors and may be like 2000 gold sedans (or 1994 purple cars) to us in 2035, but I like both colors as they have the positive attributes of silver while not being silver.
