Just picked this thing up after getting in an accident with my 2016 SR5 Crewmax that I had started building. This one is another 2016, but a Limited with 38,XXX miles at purchase. Has a few more goodies too.

The rear definitely needs some work before whoops but all in due time

Ah yes. I just noticed you have MT rear still. That's gonna buck NASTY. What's the plans? Bedcage? Canti? Link? Backhalf?

Thanks man, it's been a fun one so far. Excited to see what I can get into with it.
Not too sure yet - I'm pretty new to the whole leaf thing. There's a custom spring shop near me that can build a more custom pack off of the deaver pack that's already in but not sure how much benefit that'll actually give me.
Looking into SUA options with a bed cage - we'll see though.
    Links are fun too

You don't need links or anything fancy to have fun. There's a ton of leaf trucks out there going fast and having a good time. SUA with bedcage will still crush it. Make sure to do a hydro bump too. Regardless, need video!

Thanks man! Pretty stoked on it
    Videos will come. And hydros.
I really just need to sit down and do some reading on SUA kits. I know it is a Tacoma, but with proper valving SUA trucks can kill it in the dirt - I'd be thrilled if I could keep up with this.

So I'm swapping these from my old truck. I've hit them on that one - what's up?
    I've been watching it :anonymous:
Odds are, I'm in on it. April 30, yeah?
    Thanks man

Pushed it up to April 3rd because RCV made a deal that was too good to linger on. Let me know and I’ll add you to the list for some LT axles! We need at least 3 more commitments.

I was wondering if I wanted to get them if they were any good because my truck definitely doesn’t need that fancy of bumstops like on my LT Tacoma

For a MT truck, they're great. I run Durobumps (very similar bumpstop) on my 4Runner and love them. Couldn't recommend them enough.
For a LT truck, hydro bumps will definitely be worth the investment.

Got back last night from a ~1,200 mile road trip (~165 miles were on dirt). Headed down to Laughlin, NV to run the Mojave Trail with some friends. Started in Laughlin and ended between Baker, CA and Yermo, CA.
All in all, the trip was a blast. I got to break out my GFC Superlite for the first time and was super comfortable and wasn't able to tell much, if any, weight difference.
    Some takeaways from the trip...
    - Superchargers are FUN
    - I'd like a different bed mounting system for my tent. The Leitner rack is great but I don't think it's ideal for my application. Thinking of just going to a very simple bed rack consisting of two or three bed bars for the tent. Also considering an RSI Smartcap but I'm not sure how that would hold up to the abuse of an LT truck
    - A 37" tire mounted in the bed like it is takes up too much room on long trips. Thinking a vertically mounted tire will happen
    - I rub a good bit up front. I think a lot of this can be combated with some trimming and limiting the uptravel a tiny amount. I also think dual rate coils need to happen in the front. But I need to read more about those first
    - Hydro bumps up front are a must
    - The rear needs some work. It performed better than I expected but a SUA kit with some proper shocks/bypasses will go a long way in making sure the rear can keep up with the front
    - I need to make a case for spare parts/tools for this truck. I have one for the 4Runner so it's easy enough to make another one. While I didn't have anything go wrong with this trip, a lot could when doing that many miles and spare parts/tools would be a nice thing to have on hand if something does happen.
    - The HID lights up front don't do much in terms of good off-road lights. This needs to be addressed
    - A more permanent solution to mounting my fridge in the back would be nice. It was strapped in the back passenger side seat but bounced around a little bit, even when strapped
    - A proper phone mount will be nice for mounting my phone (which has offline maps)
    - Bigger brakes would be nice. The current (OEM) ones aren't terrible but having better braking power offroad will be a nice addition

    Anyways, here's a few pictures.
