hey guys, new to the Tundra community here!

I recently purchased a 2000 Tundra TRD package, and I want to raise it, but not get into changing brake lines, steering extensions, and whatever else.

    Suggestions?
    Best places to shop?

    Thanks !!

Bilstein lifts is a good site. Toytec also. Try to steer away from spacer kits. I have one and I'm not happy with it. Fortunately it was already on the truck when I bought it. So, really no loss. Just doesn't ride that good. I'm looking at the Bilstein 5100's front and rear. It's a 2.5 inch lift in the front and i was going to get a 1 inch block kit for the rear.

Definitely check out ToyTecs' OME lift kit for your 2000. Complete OME kit is $860ish.

Welcome from CO. I'm like you, I want a lift but don't want to change a bunch of lines or hoses. From what I've seen you can do this with a 3" lift. A 4" lift you the swapping out starts. Im looking at the Toytec lift myself. It comes with new coils which is nice. One stop shop.

5100’s are a good option, especially if your shocks are blown or close too. Stepping up from 5100’s are Old Man Emu or Eibech coils and struts. Then you have the coilovers: Toytec, sway’s, ICON, Fox, king.

All depends on your intentions, just want room for 33’s or off-road performance?

I’m not looking too much for off-road performance - I get that fix with my 4 wheeler when needed

So i want a better look, a better stance, and room for bigger tires/ after market rims.

As mentioned I didn’t want to get into having to change out a bunch of stuff to make it happen

I appreciate any input. Thanks again

Sounds like 5100’s meet your criteria. I would recommend setting the collar at the second or third notch. Then a 1” block or an AAL for the rear depending on how much you tow. You might want to consider a 1” diff drop if you set the front billies on the third notch. Hopefully preventing you from regreasing and reclamping a cv boot after installing the lift.

    Hope this helps.
