anyone know where I can find this discontinued kit? I want a 4/6 drop. 2/4 drops are still available but I really want to find a 4/6. I know I’d need to figure out the driveshaft situation since the RCSB has a single piece drive shaft. I edited a photo to see if I’d like it and I definitely want it LOW. I’m from south texas so low trucks are a trend….

DJM makes 2 and 3 inch drop arms, add in drop struts/coils to go as low as you want.

Belltech makes drop struts you can put factory coils on if you don't like short coils or strut spacers.

I've heard getting those drop arms to align is hit or miss, and I don't see any options for lowered upper control arms that might help. Any chance UCAs for lifted applications would work or is the extra adjustment going the wrong way?

My knowledge of suspension isn't as good as I'd like. Would combining drop spindles and drop arms lower the truck more, or are you limited to whichever gives more of a drop?

I have built a lot of lowered trucks and bagged trucks, but none of them have been Tundras.

I would always recommend drop spindles over any sort of dropped lower control arm. The lower control arms typically cause issues with ground clearance and bump-steer.

In most domestic vehicles, the spindles are typically the safest route, and help maintain the factory geometry and ride.

That being said, this platform doesn’t have the same interest in lowering as say Chevrolet or Ford, so it seems you’ll have to do some trial and error.

    To answer your initial question:

You should be able to run drop spindles and drop arms together to achieve more drop. However you may experience interference with your steering stops.

Also to answer your upper control arm question, the adjustable control arms for lifted trucks would help with tire wear and camber when lowering, just be aware of the caster some of the arms have added into the design.

The only lowered trucks I've seen in person have all been Chevys. Is it just because they are easy to do?

The extra caster would just affect straight line stability right?

I appreciate the education. Sounds like I should buy a Chevy and bag it for the weekends

I did my 2018 with DJM A arms and Bell Tech struts, stock springs front, DJM flip plus wedges and shackles in back. I’m running 20” with 50 series. That’s the lowest I could get. I also saw some 3” drop struts on EBay thinking about getting those and swapping out. Before

Jonny222, love the look of your truck. I’ve also always loved white letter tires. Surprises me how many ppl don’t like….or even despise the look.
