Media hack besides binzie

Purchased the carlinkit t-box with discount was $100 cheaper and works with Samsung note 22

 

So questions do all of these boxes just play downloaded stored material.
Is there nothing you can use to plug in that will stream stuff or at least link to your phone to stream to screen?

 

Still a no for me.

You can stream from a wifi source or sim card

 

I am sorry I am not up on all the technology parts . My question is , I have wifi on my truck connected thru ATT , if I purchase carlinkit box , it will connect to my iphone and I can stream live not downloaded video feeds from my phone ? I understand that I can download movies and such to the carlinkit box and watch .
I am not interested in having to download stuff to my phone or the box to play it on screen.
So will this box enable me to watch live feeds of football games that i am able to watch on my phone to the screen in the truck?

I went to the website and it seems it just gives you carplay , which I already have thru factory in 2022 tundra , it only allows you to connect to apps on your phone , I also check compatibility and it stops at 2020 tundra no 2021 or 2022.?

 

It's not a good idea to download these apps to your phone anyways. You have zero insight on what information they are gathering on the backend. They could get your wifi passwords, banking passwords, retirement account passwords. There is a digital war going on right now and China is one of many adversaries we have now.

 

With Benize and an app called Torque tied to a bluetooth OBD2 reader, you can display various values of your trucks engine... Such as this image for JB4 tuner.

 

So the carlinkit or binzie works with using your phone as a hot spot or you can insert a sim card and it can run completely on its own as a android tablet. So with me I have a samsung phone, when the unit comes up I connect it to the phone by tethering it and using the cell network

You can install sim card in binize box and it works as a tablet on its own. Or you can use hot spot through your phone and it will work too.

 

I am also going for Binize as it has its own sim and XD card and also has built in navigation so that is nice.. all on your console.
