OK so lesson learned! I was messing with the rear view mirror wiring for a way to power on my dash cam. I did something to short out the lite-blue wire I was hoping to use and now all my console indicators, gauges, stick shift, reverse camera, fan, etc. all stopped working!? I checked all the fuses in the engine compartment, all were good. I was baffled what to do next, so I took it to my Toyota dealership and they found a burned out fuse under the driver side dash (I didn't know it was there). Once the fuse was replaced everything went back to normal.

Bummer. My advice is you open your owners manual or download one from Toyota and bookmark a few sections starting with the fuses.

The extended details about the interactions of the fuses and systems will lead you to where the bad one is. i.e. comparing your list to the manual while inspecting fuses can eliminate the need to pull every fuse.

JM2C - I try to do this before an emergency.

GL w camera, what did you buy?
