I have been reading a few posts about Method wheels being a little thicker than others and recommend swapping to a longer wheel stub. Have those ordered is stock thread size. With the switch to longer studs, what are the correct lug nuts to get? Are the ET ones ok? Any help would be appreciated.

You can still run the method lugs with the extended studs. They fit and don’t bottom out.

Longer studs would be the best but I use ET lug nuts no problem, including with stock studs and method wheels in the past. Just make sure the ET portion doesn’t extend past the lug holes of the wheel to where they could contact the hub once torqued down. You can check that with the wheels off the truck. If it does and you tighten them on with an impact you might mushroom them out and get the wheels stuck on there.

Just received Method 316s for my Gen3 Tundra. Here are the lugs that the Method site confirmed are correct. These look like the right ones? Seem shorter than what is pictured.

Any issues with the Method ET lug kit on the stock (OEM) wheel stub bolts?

I just installed some method 316 with the method et lug nuts and they work just fine with the oem studs. I also bought some icon 19mm hex lug nuts, I usually try to stay away from spline nuts, but there's not enough room for the socket without it scraping the wheel so i used the method spline ones.

No issues here with 305NV's and the method lug nuts. I'm keeping an eye on them in that I get almost 8 full turns on the nuts before hitting the torque numbers.

I'm starting to wonder what percentage of your Tundra is OEM at this point...

Love it. I'm now saving lunch money for the 5.29 gears and an e locker. Trying to do the right thing at the right time, and before you say it, no a super charger is not on the list.!

Awesome! How is the thread engagement?
I guess from reading the goal is at least the same as the stud width (14mm for the Gen 2&2.5) if I understand correctly. Not sure how many turns that translates too.

    Cheers
    Jay

To get 14mm of thread engagement you'd need 9.5 rotations of the lug nut. (1.5mm thread pitch, 14/1.5=9.333)
