Has anybody used Dupli color MGM match to do their grill surround and hood bulge and bumper ends?

No but I just bought a bunch of cans to paint my son's battery powered tundra to match mine :D. Figured it's close enough but prolly not exact.

Try paintscratch.com if you want a real match. Had good luck with themcin the past, but their more expensive

Hmm..tough call. Most people just do a DIY vinyl wrap or plasti dip. Not sure, if the paint will stick to the chrome very well.

I have bumper caps now, but here's mine before that. Plasti dipped with about 5 coats of black, then about 3 coats of grahite metalizer. Came out damn close, and know one ever knew.

Sorry can't help about the paint color. I'd say just test it out on a piece of chrome/plastic lying around the garage. That's what I did before I committed to doing the entire bumper end caps.

I used it for the chrome Toyota emblem on my last Tacoma. The color was spot on. I also did the chrome grill surround on my second gen Tacoma with it as well, but it was silver mica or something. I didn't wet sand between clear coats (used Duplicolor for that too) so it wasn't buttery smooth like the factory finish, but for a few bucks I was happy with the results.

I didn't have much luck on the chrome with Dupli-Color. Had better results with Plast-Dip but I find I have to redo it after winter.

I used Duplicolor to color match my old hood bulge and grille surround. The color was VERY close in my experience, but it did not last over the chrome - I had rock chips form super easily, and I think some bug hits may have done some of the damage. I didn't do a great job on the primer stage though, so that's part of the issue, but I just don't think the chrome will hold paint well.

Like others have suggested, get some Anthracite Gray PlastiDip and Glossifier. Or just bite the bullet and buy color matched parts.

Just pulls right off. Lift the front up about 4 inches and pull forward.
You can look under it when you lift up to see the mounts which are spikes, the rear has U shaped clips that mate together.
Sorry I didn’t have pictures of that
