Really has nothing to do with Tundra tires but still something I thought is pretty innovative and awesome. We got our quarterly shipment of tires for work and I noticed Michelin is getting fancy with their tread wear indicators. Check it out.

That is pretty cool. I guess the “old school” tread wear indicator right next to it was no longer effective! Haha

    Function before sparkle.
That's strange.... I thought Nokian had a patent on visual wear indicators (vs a single wear mark nub).

Right! Although our fleet mechanic is pretty stoked now because any of our employees should now be able to tell him exactly how much tire is left LOL.
    No prob!

By the way, what model tires are those, curious if just a specific commercial application or all. I was looking at my other less cool Toyota (Sienna) tires and thought this would be perfect for our van and probably a lot of users.

This is also going to help re-sale. You know those guys the use coins to try and show you how much tire is left.

They will dry rot before you even need to use that innovation.

Maybe in regular applications but these tires will be replaced in 4 months probably. They go on our ambulances. We do about 10k a month in mileage

Why do you get 2 different tread patterns?
They sound like good tires, really good actually. I think I could squeeze the 275.65.20 on my OEM wheels lol.

There is actually 3 different tires in that picture. We have a few different vehicles. The LTX A/Ts are for our supervisor trucks (Tahoe 4x4s). The Agilis CrossClimate are for our Transit style trucks and the Defenders are for our dually box units.

@Medic343 I am considering purchasing a set of the Michelin Agilis CrossClimate. How do they handle in summer? Any downside to the tires?
    Thank you
