Anyone have any experience with the Mickey Thompson Deegan 38 All-Terrains?

    http://www.mickeythompsontires.com/light-truck-tires/deegan-38-all-terrain

I found a few commercial reviews, such as this one:

    http://www.offroadxtreme.com/engine...review-mickey-thompson-deegan-38-all-terrain/

But I’m more interested in individual user reviews, of which I’ve found only a very few in a google search. My guess is that they’re probably still too new to have garneted enough user reviews, but I thought I’d check here anyway in case anyone may have any experience with them.

Good point and yes, I found this thread:

    https://www.tundras.com/threads/new-mickey-thompson-deegan-38s.12087/

Real nice truck and same size tires I’m interested in, too. The thread kind of evolved into a bumper thread, but a few months later the OP gave an update on his tires with glowing reviews at that time. Wasn’t sure if it’s appropriate to resurrect it and ask for a more recent update or start a new thread asking for any additional experiences.

Only other thread I found concerned the Deegan M/Ts, but I admit my forum searching skills aren’t the greatest.

I've been running them for a year. 'Whacha want to know?
**EDIT** Just noticed you said "...38 ATs"
Mine are just the regular Deegan 38's. Not AT's. Still, let me know if you have questions.

Correct. Comparable to the Nitto's and BF Goodrich. Obviously more aggressive pattern that extends down on the side wall. I went abt 8K mi before rotating. I wasn't having any issues with tracking or wobble...just regular rotation.
You can feel the tread bumps at abt 5mph, but quickly goes away and rides as smoothe as any 35 off-road tire I've ever been on. Obviously there's a bit of road drone at higher speeds, but that's part of it. Personally, I don't even notice it now.
Part of my mod list (for when the weathers warmer) is a sound system which will include Dynamating the cab. I expect that will help some of the drone.
One last point is, if you're going to run a 35" , you'll be best to add at least a 3" lift. You may also have to trim some of the front fender well (area behind the fog lights).
There's plenty of info on here abt lifts and 35's.

    @equin
One other point to note, if you go with Mickey's....Buy from an authorized retailer!!
Mickey's tread warranty is ONLY for the original purchaser, from an authorized retailer.

    Absolutely!
I called Mickey Thompson before I purchased too. JEGS had the best prices, that even my authorized dealer couldn't touch, but was 100% legitimate. Turned out that when they were mounted, one of them was out of range for a road force balance. I called MT and they authorized it through JEGS, JEGS sent me a new one right to my dealer, and picked up the other one free of charge. Really nice companys to deal with...MT & JEGS.
