MillerCat reached out to me to use my truck for final fitment of their shields that will be going out to dealers and such. Nice guys with a solid product, so I made a video about it as well.

Pros- tamper proof flush heads, flush vents, easy add on for hybrids, no loss of clearance, plays nice with front skids
Cons- only aluminum finish (if that matters to someone)

The truck is dirty because it goes on dirt

Does it come with the bit to install/remove the plate?

Yes it does, in the video that’s what the little bag with a bit in it is.

Seems like it could use more cut outs for heat. I wonder what the affect of trapping more heat is.

    Nice post!
I actually prefer the mill aluminum finish. Not like anyone is going to be eyeballing it anyway. Anxious to see price.

Their other units are $570 so I’m guessing in that ballpark

I was wondering if it’s possible to bend down some of the aluminum in the heat cutouts so it kinda scoops up air and channels it upward towards the cats.

Or maybe there’s already plenty of air circulation when the truck is in motion and it wouldn’t make a difference if the heat buildup occurs mostly when it’s stopped?

I think the air circulation is fine. The vents allow heat circulation when stopped as the heat can escape over the fences of the shield and cooler air in through the vents.
