Oem tonneau, side steps, spray in liner. Trd skidplate.
I do the same. Mobile one 0-20, 10k intervals. The longest I have kept one is 350k on my '06 tundra. Never any issues on any of my five tundras.

So,,,,,,,,, when the engineers say it really is not needed to change it any sooner I reckon they were serious! :)

They say the same thing for the new Ram motors too. "Changing the oil any sooner than suggested intervals is not needed"

So changing oil at 5 thousand will give me a 2 million mile truck.

Worry not Grasshopper. No really salient information. And counting the comments a shit-pot of time/type is spent trashing online forums.

A million miles is a million miles. A single engine going that distance with minimal issues is astonishing. And it validates a 10,000 mile oil change interval.

    but…

the duty cycle here is overwhelmingly high percentage of highway drives.

max air flow across radiator and into engine bay.

engine speeds in the 1500-2500 realm that keeps fluids circulating, cooling; and an engine speed that isn’t taxing ( low or high rpm).

with an exceptionally well designed and manufactured engine, and quality oil, you can get away with a 10K oci.

Brian Murphy’s Frontier also ran a million miles on 10K oci

    https://usa.nissannews.com/en-US/re...r-that-delivered-a-million-miles-and-counting

Not sure what oci Mike Neal was on For his 1.6 million miles Tacoma.

Yep in fact Mike Neal also was on 10,000 mile oci.

    Oil type does matter:

Howard Clayton also got his Cummins dodge to go 2.6 million miles on 10,000 mile oci.
