Hello! New to the group. Just picked up my first tundra. 06 limited DC. Wondering if I'm missing a piece to hold the ash tray and if anyone has a part #? TIA

I'm having to guess a bit on this because you didn't list which engine and drivetrain you have, or what trim package. That makes looking up parts pretty damn hard sometimes.

Needless to say, here's the parts page for an '06 Limited DC for ash tray, seems to only be 2pc: https://parts.toyota.com/a/Toyota_2...65510_6707932/ASH-RECEPTACLE/841420-7456.html

Some other parts are here, if you click 'View More Images' you can look at exploded diagrams for dash stuff: https://parts.toyota.com/a/Toyota_2...ENT-PANEL--GLOVE-COMPARTMENT/841420-5551.html

The brunt of the dash stuff is here, but again, need to click 'View More Images' and cycle through the exploded diagrams to find what you need: https://parts.toyota.com/a/Toyota_2...2060/SWITCH--RELAY--COMPUTER/841420-8401.html

Finally, newbie, check this thread :D: https://www.tundras.com/threads/so-you-wanna-buy-just-bought-a-1st-gen-tundra-eh.115928/

OK. Thank you! It's a V8 4WD. 216k miles rust free Cali truck. Looks like I have both parts. I'll have to look for damage or maybe something is bent. It just drops right out.

Make sure you undercoat that truck with Fluid Film or similar if you intend to still have a frame 2-3 years from now.

Absolutely! It's been fluid filmed and it will be touched up every year.

Looks like this tab has been bent or worn down and is no longer catching and stopping the ash try from sliding out or maybe the spring isn’t holding that whole part up enough to hook the tab.

Appears the rod pin is in and if it has a spring attached, ash tray is in good shape. Compared to mine, there are no bent tabs.

What you are missing is both black side rails on ash tray receptacle, which are part of the top silver piece. Take silver top out with philips screws for removal and to add led bulb or change existing bulb.

From 1 of the links Shift posted, the 74104-0C010 is the part number The black side rails and shows discontinued at online dealers I normally use. Your best bet may be a junk/pik-a-part place if you have one close by. It fits manyyy year Sequoia/Tundras.

Brings back mixed memories when changing out ash tray receptacle bulb to led and also cig light bulb to led

Yeah, if you can find one. Might have to visit some junk yards if you have any in your area. My Raceway pik-a-part has Tundras periodically I pilpher from
