Hi all, so I have a 2020 TRD Pro with full LED OEM headlights. I just installed a pair of gen 2 morimoto xb headlights. I had to purchase a separate wiring harness for my configuration. Anyways, I followed directions and connected the harness to the headlights, then connected all the plugs from the truck harness to the headlight harness.

I noticed my signals are not sequential. Anyone know how to make them sequential? (Thats kinda what I paid for in this upgrade....)

Also, does anyone who switched out their 2020 led headlights for morimotos know which fuse to tap into for the DRL tap? There was a 7.5 led light fuse I tried to use but it caused the DRLs to remain on regardless (regardless as in even when I shut off the car and lock my doors). So for now I left the drl wire tap disconnected and the drl/signal lights only come on when I lock/unlock the truck or I use my turn signals. I would the drl function back but am unsure which fuse to tap.

Hopefully someone can help... it's a bit frustrating as I thought it was plug and play and assumed the sequential mode was the default.

The sequential mode is activated be leaving the connector unplugged. I can look in the morning to see which fuse location I am plugged into.

Dude, thank you! Do you know which connector is to be left unplugged?

So I tapped the drl fuse tap to a 7.5 amp fuse labeled USB and disconnected the sequential connector so now my sequentials and DRLs work.

    New problems:
-Tail light driving lamps now do not come on at all. The taillight brake clamps and turn signals work as they should though. I have the morimoto tail lights.

-Also, while the DRLs work, the drl light output remains constant. Same light output whether or not low beams are on. I was of the impression the DRLs decrease 50% output when low beams are on.

I wonder if I was supposed to plug this extra connector in?20221118_190340.jpg

I left the harness out because initially my turn signals would not work when I had it plugged in. I assumed maybe it was for the halogen headlight harness.

Well. I figured it out. I had to move the white/black wire from each turn signal connector and relocate it to the middle pin. To make life easier, I used the extra signal adapters that were included with each kit and just repositioned the pins.
    20221119_103014.jpg 20221119_104015.jpg 20221119_105706.jpg 20221119_111932.jpg

Ended up tapping into the 7.5amp USB fuse but I may end up moving the drl tap to a 10amp fuse.

Also, just like with another user on here who had the same issue with a 20 TRD pro, I had to replace the 10amp TAIL fuse inside the truck. Now my running lights work as they should. Best part about this fix was I didnt have to remove my grill or headlights again.

Now... I still have one minor issue left:

My DRLs dont seem as bright as the OEM TRD pro DRLs. They are supposed to brighter without the low beams and then dim to about 50% output with the low beams on. Right now they are the same output with or without the low beams on. I sent an email to morimoto so just waiting to see what they say.

New question.... do the amber DRLs only come on 100% when set to auto? Because that's what I've noticed. When I turn my stalk to the DRLs, the DRLs are at like 50% power, same as when low beams are on.

The DRLs are only at 100% when the low beams are not on. They dim to 50% with the headlights. If they are installed using the fusetap, the DRL function on the stalk no longer works.

So should I remove the drl fuse tap? I currently have the fuse tap installed and I have been wondering why my DRLs never got super bright like OEM. Last night I put the stalk in auto and bam, full power DRLs. Every other option on the stalk has the DRLs at 50%, even DRL mode, which kinda drives me nuts because the OEM DRLs would be 100% at the stalk DRL position.

As I was mentioning earlier, the fusetap makes the DRL position non-functional. It is due to the way that the Tundra is wired. It still functions as normal on the 4Runners. I have the white DRL's and mine are full brightness when all lights are off. They dim to 50% once the parking or headlights are turned on. he fuse tap should have 10 amp fuses in both slots. Which spot is the fusetap plugged in to?

I tapped mine into a USB fuse. I think it was a 7.5 fuse. Bottom fuse tap in pic below.20221119_111932.jpg
