Recently put a diamondback hd cover on the bed so would love to be able to have a place on the corners to put items into, and was hoping to use the built in rails to add a static bin, preferably a Milwaukee packout open top bin.

Anyone got an idea how to accomplish this?

One option may be adding molle panels that mount with factory rail. I know Rago designs makes some along with a few others. It may require some additional brackets, but a mount like the versa crate from unbeaten path designs may work for what you are looking for. All the packout mounts I have seen for trucks mount them vertically which would not work for the crate.

I just ordered the Rago Fab bedside MOLLE panels and the unbeatenpath packout mounts. I’m was planning on using the packout organizers, not the open bin. I’ll post how it works out once it’s installed. Might give you an idea.
