I have a 2007 TRD Platinum. Yesterday I went to move it out of my driveway and it won’t shift from park. Also, the turn signals, wipers, power windows won’t work. I put the battery on a charger and still won’t work. When I run the truck the battery drains fairly quickly. I know it needs a new alternator, but I haven’t had the shifting problem before. I am showing codes: P0504, P0400, B2620, and U0129. I know what all the codes mean but not sure if it’s just the alternator or what, please help me out.

Low voltage/alternator problems can trip all kinds of gremlins (like the stuff you’re seeing). I’d square that up and go from there.

If you have a multimeter, its super easy to check if the alternator is working. Takes 5 seconds.

^^^ absolutely correct. When these computers go undervoltage data packets are lost and when friends go missing, it reports it.

Have battery and alternator tested. If battery is 4+ or 5+ years old, just replace and verify all grounds and connections are solid.

As stated, the computer is not happy because it lacked power to perform its “checks” so everything pops up bad. Fix the charging system, clear the codes, and you’ll likely be good to go.
