Anybody familiar with MVX Off-road Wheels? They a daughter company to ESR Wheels…? I am unfamiliar with both brands, but I think ESR is known in certain circles for forged wheels; MVX are not forged by might be flow-formed (sorta forge the barrel, but not the center/spokes, which are cast).

I’ve sent a few inquiries to the company as I like the look of the VX12 and it comes in a close enough offset that I’m looking for. Price is also right. But I don’t want some cheap garbage wheels either; I’ve stuck with stock because they are solid and reliable.

Anyways, anybody know anything - good or bad - about MVX or ESR wheels? I’ve found exactly one thread on the site with somebody rocking MVX Wheels.

Got a few more details about the wheels from MVX Offroad. Wheel weight is 28 lbs each. The fake bead lock is integral to the wheel, but the bolts are removable if you to change colors and such. Wheels are cast (not flow formed) and made out of A356 aluminum with T6 heat treatment; Method Wheels use the same metal and heat treatment on their wheels - well, the 707 Bead Grip wheel, anyways. They require a new conical seat lugs as well.

I had the VX62 17" on my F150 and for the price, I enjoyed them. The $100 sale is pretty tempting right now, just wish I knew if their 17" would fit my 2024, and hesitant to pull the trigger without knowing.

I did not. I was looking for flow forged without a fake bead lock. Still tempting, but I kept my stock TRD wheels for now.
