I bought a black SR5 SX on Black Friday. Part of me wishes I’d of got a TRD sport . I would have liked the bilsteins and TRD sway bars. But the parking sonar and other things upped the price plus I’m not a fan of a non functional hood scoop. I like less bells and whistles. My Dakota R/T had wind down windows and manual locks. Plus a black limited nightshade recently came to my dealer . Loved the black 20s but no sway bars or sport bilsteins. So I plan on making my own sport truck over time . I already put a rear TRD sway bar on first week of ownership . With the rear sway bar the 255/70/18s handle surprisingly well. And I drive a 6 speed manual Scion FRS as my daily driver. Plus this truck replaced my 99 Dakota r/t. So when the KYB shocks wear out I will put sport bilsteins on. Plus when truck paid off I want black 20s or 22s for spring summer and fall and use the old 18 inch black rims for dedicated winter tires. I’m in southeastern pa. The 20s would be 275/55/20. The 22s would be 305 something . Is it worth having summer / winter set up or just go with upgrading to 255/55/20 all year round?

My Scion FRS rides better than my Dakota R/T. I really like the way my tundra rides. So as I upgrade ride can get stiffer but I don’t want it as stiff as the Dakota R/T was.

Congrats. Just picked up an SX myself. Added front and rear TRD sway bars, tonneau cover, running boards, spray in bedliner, remote locking tailgate and the black inlays for the tundra badge on the tailgate.

Future mods im considering are the grab handle, center console safe, underneath storage, and pedal commander
