This was the best fit for my family. It blew out the competition in almost every category. Sorry guys but the Sequoia didn't fit my demands and I had good connections to get one.

2017 Nissan Armada Platinum 4x4 complete new model. 390hp 5.6L V-8 with 8,500lbs towing. All leather, 20" tinted rims, dvd players, lane assistance, multi-cameras for birds eye view when parking, cruise control assist, braking assist, tri climate zone, 8 seats, front seats heated and cooled, rear seats heated, sun roof, power everything and very smooth and very fast :)

Paid about $60k for this bad boy which blew out the Yukon Denali I wanted for $78k.

Thanks Sean, I did not like the last style but this made me look into Nissan.

That is sharp! Sometimes we need to stray from Toyota, it's understandable, haha.

Wife drives a QX80, and I'm pretty sure Nissan went to the QX frame for the new Armada, and you can see the body influences. The QX (and I think the new Armada's) are based on the Nissan Patrol chassis which are pretty stout units.

Congrats on that beautiful Armada, they're fantastic units.

We have an 08' Nissan Armada we parked about a year ago for when the kids start driving - I'll feel much better with them in it than something small. Son turns 13 in June, and is already practicing driving it out in the boonies. Thing has been bulletproof - 110k miles and changed oil, tires, and I think a battery - it's never let us down. He's pretty psyched because it's a great rig for towing his boat as well. Here's his set-up.

I am glad to hear this. I have never even considered Nissan in my life but my research online and talking with owners made me feel good about buying. I have only heard great things about their reliability.

We bought our 08' new, and haven't had to do anything other than what I listed. We'll see how the Tundra does, but that Nissan has been coast to coast, and in every environment possible - and it just hummed along.

To tell you how much we respect and appreciate our ole' Armada - we'll have had it parked for 3.5 years saving it for the kids because it treated us that good and we feel it's a perfect vehicle (safety) for our kids to be driving.

The only way I could be happier with that vehicle is if it washed and waxed itself, and was able to pump its own gas.

Congrats. Nissan makes some quality vehicles.

How do they fit 8 seats in there? Do you have any cargo room if you have 3 rows of seats?

How's the comparison with the Sequoia? My son and his family (wife +4) have been thinking about this and getting ready to jump. Any information I can pass along?

Looks won't matter to him any more than they do to me. I have yet to do a single cosmetic mod.
What about the stuff that counts, power, access, torque, payload, maneuverability, etc.?
I'm pretty sure my body style is old! lol, actually my 62 year old body ain't got no style at all
