I’m debating between the N-Fab RS drop step and the Podium version for my 2011 DC. I’m going to stick with cab length bars. Right now I have chrome nerf bars. They work well but I don’t like the big gap between them and the truck body and want a matte black look.

I think the difference is 2” main tube vs 3” main tube on the podium. The step itself is different from what I can see.

If you have either of these and and she’d some light I’d like to see pictures and know the following:

Are the ends of the main tube capped or open? They look welded over but somewhere I saw a complaint that they were open on the RS.

which one of the two mounts closest to the truck body? I want a clean look with the main tube hugging the rocker.

how far do the steps hang from the bottom of the rocker? My truck is leveled but essentially stock height so I don’t want the steps to hang down too far.

    Thanks!
