Just wondering those who have the N-Fab step bars, what's your thoughts on them, i.e. how they hold up, how the powder coat holds up, etc.

Great steps but the finish is garbage!

Do you have a problem getting out and removing skin from your leg as you do? I know when I got my grill bars, the powder coat was awful and I had them blasted and redone by a local shop and that solved that.

No problems with the steps but after two years the finish looks terrible. I'll prob get them blasted and bedlinnered soon

You will be much happier. I have the NFab Podiums and had them sprayed with Line-X Premium.

I love this forum. Everyone since day one have been nothing less than great so thank you. The ones I am considering are the ones that have the full sized step pictured here. This is a stock photo from their website, not on my truck. Anyone have experience with this particular model?

I have those exact nFab steps and they work really well for me. I have very bad knee problems and I am able to step on the bar and then step with my other foot on to the step. It sure makes it easy to get in and out. My wife is short and it makes it easy for her to. I almost bought cheaper steps but I liked the grip on the nFab steps. I can't afford to slip on the plastic steps that were on other steps. I cannot speak of the durablility. My steps are chrome to match all the chrome on my 2018 Limited 4X4 Crew Cab. LOL. The chrome has lasted with no issues for over three years. I go through a lot of Georgia mud. Good luck.

I have the exact same ones. I love them but like others have said, the finish sucks. Ive had them on for two years and they looked grey. I removed them and sprayed them with one bottle of Raptor liner I had left over from a previous project. I was able to do 5 coats with the one bottle ( not the rattle can). Same here. I put them on my 2018 CM when I tore up a driver side one Predator step. I've had them for about 4 years and they are holding up great. As above, my wife really likes them as you can put your whole foot on it to get in.

Did you sand blast before raptor lining or just spray over the factory powder coat?

Cleaned them with hot water and dawn and then wiped them down with rubbing alcohol.

Son had N Fabs on his Tacoma. Finish was crap and the faded and started to rust within a year. Had to refinish them.

Like the looks and they seem pretty solid, but my first set started to rust at the welds after 6 mos. N-fab replaced under warranty with no problem, but now second set is showing signs of doing the same thing. This after only 3-4 mos. I’ll probably hit them up for another set under warranty in the spring and have them bed-lined before installing. Getting too old to keep swapping them every year!
Anyone have a guess as to what having them sprayed might cost?

It varies by region but mine were between $350-400 for Line-X Premium.

Ouch! That’s what I paid for the steps.
Think powder coating would hold up?

It will if it's done by a good local shop. The factory powdercoat isn't that great when items are mass produced.

Which model of steps is this? I like the removable step option. Looks badass
