Names for different generations?

So I was thinking the other day. Ford and chevy have sqaure bodies, bump sides, OBS, etc as nicknames for thier trucks. I cant find anything on tundras, I was wondering what naming conventions to differentiate different generation ls of tundras would be.

Now obviously there is a huge difference in body style between gen 1 and 2.

Gen 2 and 2.5 are bascially the same with slight differences. The head lights in gen 2 are swept back and curve upward vs the 2.5 more squared headlights and the bed on gen 2 has a sweptback look whereas gen 2.5 is more boxy/sqaure.

We could always go the jeep route, I did find this list ref to the tundras:

• 2022 - Now 3rd Gen (XK70)
• 2019 - 2021 2nd Gen (XK50) Facelift 3.
• 2014 - 2018 2nd Gen (XK50) Facelift 2.
• 2010 - 2013 2nd Gen (XK50) Facelift.
• 2007 - 2009 2nd Gen (XK50)
• 2003 - 2006 1st Gen (XK40) Facelift.
• 2000 - 2002 1st Gen (XK30)

May be silly but I thought it would be neat to have a nickname for the different generation of tundras.....any ideas?

 

Xk30 is 'best gen'

xk40 double cabs are 'ridgelines' but might be changing to sporttrac.

facelifted xk50's are turd gens.

xk70's are fat taco's.
