Is there a common fuse that controls both the radio and the power outlet above it? Maybe an ECU fuse? Would greatly appreciate any help. Otherwise, gonna have to take the truck into the dealership, which I’m trying to avoid. Thanks!

I actually saw this post this morning and was going to come back to it when I was home at my computer.

2022 right? I haven’t looked at the 3rd Gen wire diagrams that much but I do have them.

Can you post a pic showing which power outlet you are referring too? I don’t have a 2022 and am not sure exactly what you mean by power outlet above the radio.

I assume you have the large display radio and it is not coming on anymore at all after experimenting with adding a camera plug in the back?

thanks for all the help! Here’s a picture. I actually have the smaller display. The radio unit and power plug seem to be the only two things affected. EC864631-5562-4705-9903-C9398B233B92.jpg

I am not seeing a link between the power outlet and the radio.

The power outlet seems to be on its own single fuse. 15A Power Outlet No.1 in fuse box on the bottom of the body control module.

Is the AC control panel dark also. Just looking at your photo, either it has lost power or the key wasn't on.

That is what I found as well,

    2022_power_outlet_365a09ca8574d5661c98a5a6531442a2d89f8cd7.jpg

May not be the correct HU, but I'd guess they are similar.

Perhaps they share a common ground?
    But I couldn't find it.

Although the power outlet and the Switch & Volume Assembly of this HU seem to share an IE ground point..

Does the USB port still have power?

Check the 5A ECU-ACC fuse. If it is bad, the relay will never close to send power to the power outlet fuse.

The 5A ECU-ACC fuse also seems to provide power to the radio when the key is turned to Accessory. This is probably the wake up trigger for the radio display.

Yeah, USB still has power. Everything else from what I can tell works perfectly fine.

Yes that’s tells me it is most likely the 5A ECU ACC fuse. It is tied to the radio and power outlet. It’s in the same fuse box as the other. Lower right corner in the diagram I posted above

In the engine compartment on the driver's side of a 2022 tundra is one of the fuse boxes. In that box there are two ECU-IGP fuse locations each holding a 5A fuse. They are numbered 3 & 4. Obviously, they are controlled by the ignition, but what are they actually for? I want to use an add-a-circuit to control the switch in a relay using one of these fuse locations. One of these would be sufficient to accomplish the task, but I am not certain whether I would be interfering with something I should leave alone. Please advise. Thank you.

Hell of a thread necro… I’d have probably started a new post.

You’re best served pulling down the wiring diagrams from the thread linked above and chasing out those particular fuses through the diagrams or fuse list to see what circuits they are part of.

That all said, if you are using proper fuse taps and orient them correctly (so the load and source sides are aligned correctly with the factory routing), then you’re not impacting the factory circuit at all by installing a tap. Put the factory rated fuse in the lower position and your add-a-circuit fuse in the upper position and you are GTG.

Thank you. Found the information I was looking for in the fuse definition list link above. No. 3 is involved in the Hybrid System and the Stop and Start system.

Many thanks to Jeff 5_7! Someone give this guy a medal! My story was similar; adding usb-c ports and then all of a sudden, no radio. I checked fuses, but not the 5A ECU ACC. I was about to make an appointment with Toyota and decided to check here one more time. Thank God!

Hey.... I'm working on my 2022 1794... Somehow one of the fusable links blew the feed to my 7 way trailer wiring. I tried taking the fuse box apart...It appears to be above my paygrade...HELP....
