    Greetzings all - I’m oknwith some electrical hookups and figuring things out, but I’m stumped on this. I installed aftermarket tow mirrors that have the turn signal, heater, BSM, puddle lights and rear amber lights. The BSM won’t work because I don’t have that factory and understand that; the mirror turn signal and heater work off of factory connector. There is a smaller two wire connector that has a ground and power. Where does the power get hooked up to run the amber parking lights and the puddle white led lights on each mirror? I tried the BK/UP LP fuse in the cabin box but didn’t work right. Any suggestions? Thanks.

    Not sure if GM or Ford but there is an extra connector with ground/power. I got amber lights to come on when tapping into BK/UP LP fuse but reverse lights went out until I added second fuse but then the amber light went off. I figure it is something easy but I’m at a loss....

    Yeah you have to run the wires inside and tap into a certain wires, I can't remember which ones. I'll browse for the post

    I read that but it still doesn’t really help me. I’m not that good with wiring in detail - I can t tap, splice, run a fuse tap, etc but just not sure where to hook up the power from the two wire additional connector that came with mirrors. I got the amber lights to come on when I tapped into fuse but there has to be a wire some where I can tap in to. Then I have to get the white puddle lights to work somehow.

    You have both, running and turn signal wires in your stock mirror plug. Use a test light to find which one. I can't remember which ones, I had to test because 1 of my lenses stopped working. All you have to do is figure how you want the spot lights to come on. Qith reverse, switch, etc. Run the wire to there. Under the dash is a small fuse box. Can use add a fuse to the reverse lights, then they come on when you put your tundra in reverse.

    SABM, TRD sway bar, interior LED swap, Husky's in front and WeatherTech in the back, TRD Pro Grill, Rigid Fod lights, Rigid 40" E-series, Rigid 32" hood light, BLHM with RX350/STI projectors, 4% tint, 50% windshield.
    I've got same lights that I got from 1Aauto. They were 99% plug and play. The only wires that were needed to be spliced in were for the reverse lights (I haven't gotten to it yet) and another wire was connected to the wire under window switch. I will try to get the manual bit later if it helps.

    @Paulskie

    Please do - if having a hard time figuring out the amber light that’s on back of mirror hookup....and if you get the two white leds working please share. Pictures would be nice - I’m a visual learner lol. Thanks.

    How do you want the white leds to turn on? With reverse lights?

    Yes - I’d rather do that vice a switch.

    Fuse box under drivers side dash, look for fuse for reverse lights, add a fuse tap. Run wire from each mirror to it. Everytime you put it in reverse they'll come on.

    That’s what I was thinking but I tried the BK/UP LP fuse and that one didn’t work....I’ll have to check if there is another

    Get a cheap test light, and test the stock mirror harness in the door. It has the wires what you need. I had to test my tow mirrors cause 1 of my led markers went out. There's parking and signal wires in it. Then tap the ones you need.

    I’ll try this - I have a test light. If I find I can just t tap into it.

    How do you do this? I purchased same.
    mirrors but with in mirror signals as well. I have a 2017 limited. Everything works, factory BSM, power, and heated, and the in mirror signal even works on the new mirror however the outside LEDs running lights and signals do not work. Can you please tell me how to fix this. At this point I'd be happy with just the clearance lights but signals on the outer LEDs would be great as well. Thanks!

    @Meltz I can't remember what wire/wires you need. Get a test light, under $5. And use that on the stock plug, you'll find the wires you need to tap into. I had to do this when 1 side of my leds went out on my stock tow mirrors. Wasn't sure if it was the mirror or the lense.

    I believe the gray is a ground. You can attach it to anywhere metal. I attached a bolt wire attachment piece to it and slide it on one of the bolts and put the nut over it. That was enough to keep it attached to metal.
