    Whutsup fam!

The Jarhead side of me is pulling my eye toward these wheels. I personally hate all black wheels cuz they remind me of factory spares, so I wanted to explore powdercoating/ painting options,

I wanted to ask current owners if they can confirm whether or not the surrounding bolts, both large and small, can be removed. As in, is this a one piece wheel or 2?

I wanted to powdercoat the wheel, but keep the bolts black. I know it can be done, but would rather not have to go through the painstakingly time consuming efforts of covering/ protecting each individual bolt. Thanks in advance

    JR

I'm with on that! I was thinking humvee wheels when they 1st came out. These are my favorite wheels. What color is your Tundra? They have gunmetal and sand color too.

Tundra is Cement, I think gunmetal with black bolts would look really nice on that color scheme.

I'm digging those. That out of the way, there is a lot of attention to detail there when it comes time for cleaning.. You're going to be using a toothbrush to clean around all of those nuts. HeheHaha I said, nuts.

I really like those wheels too. But that’s exactly what I was thinking about cleaning them. Might have to start having a DGAF attitude and wipe them down the best you can and call it good.

Yea, They only have two options. "Gunmetal", but lets be real. They're black. lol

    Yup Cement

I use one of those Mothers Wheel Polishing bits on my current wheels and it kicks ass. Most of the hard stuff comes out with my power washer.

Anyways, Its either the SCS matte dark bronze or these Armory wheels. Plan to do a color match and leave the black bolts for contrast.

Any takers on my current setup :)?

Those are some hard choices. I really do like the first ones. Especially, because they are different. The current setup is nice, but I do like the Rhinos better, if you're asking.

With it being a near solid design I don't imagine that much brake pad dust will get on the front.

Now I really want these, you have a source to get them cheap?

They're not expensive at all. Maybe 1100 bucks for the set. Almost every wheel/ tire place online has been carrying them since they got released in like late 2016ish, maybe early 2017. Shoot. Even Amazon sells em.

I don’t have the armory but I have the Arsenal, which are similar, the surrounding bolts can’t be removed.

Looking to get these for my unlifted/unleveled tundra. Anyone have any guidance as far as tire size I can go with w/o rubbing? Also, was curious how much the 18x9.5 Armory stick out with the +6 offset and 5.4 backspace. Thanks in advance, new to the forum. Sorry if this was asked a million x before but I can’t seem to find anyone with my setup...guess I might have to lift/level haha

    Mines 18x9.5 +12

295/70r18 (34.5”x11.5”) - no rubbing with TRD PRo level.. doubt it would rub on any stock Tundra.

I know it's late but I have the Armory ones and I love them. They aren't hard to clean with a soft sponge or rag tbh. I dont believe the "bolts" come off but I've also never tried. They are plastic. It's a one piece wheel with the bolts screwed in from what I can tell.

The picture I posted above are the 18 x 9.5. I have 33 x 12.5 Fury M/T on them. I only have a 2.5" level spacer on the front and had to do a little bit of trimming to the front wheel well plastic. They stick out about 2" or so from the body. About 1/2" -1" past my flares.

I've had mine on for about 6 months or so and no rust issues as of yet. I live in central Texas though so winter climates with salted roads may be different.

I guess I could have just done a multi quote instead of 3 separate comments. Oh well.

Thanks, I just ordered them and they arrive tomorrow! Armory 18x9.5 black color. I'm here in the pacific northwest and rain is daily but I'll just monitor them. I'm trying not to add as much lift or spacers (wife is short and hates climbing lol). Do you think it'll rub if I don't have a spacer etc.? I'm trying to go 33s as well. So far you have the most detailed picture with the exact same specs I desire :)

Not sure about without spacers. But you will have to trim the plastic wheel well. It's really easy and I believe there's a post on here about it with pictures. I had to do it even with the spacer.

Interesting that s there s two threads about this wheel all of a sudden. I ve had Armory wheels for a while. I didn t want chrome or black wheels either. I got the desert sand. It s a decent contrast with the salsa red of my truck. I ve never tried to remove any of the wheel. No doubt the lugs are hidden under the black center section.

Anywhere. The wheels aren't really special. You can find them eBay as well.
