So I'm changing my oil, and as I pull off the skid plate, next to one of the mounting bolts, there's a frame hole that had this bolt sitting in it! Towards the driver's side near the oil filter, pic attached.

Been looking around but can't find any empty threaded holes...

Definitely a long shot but figured I'd ask in case it's easily recognizable. It's a 14mm. Anyone know what this fell off of?

    Thanks.

Find any 10 mm sockets in there?

Can’t recall anything I’ve wrenched in 14 mm other than the lower ball joint bolts. That looks a little longer than the ones i mentioned.

No idea, OP, but from reading the Full Service Manual for my year I do know that those marks on that bolt mean something about what class it is and how many ugga duggahs it can handle.

The tip looking that way makes me think it must go into something like the block? Maybe it's a bolt for a drive accessory? But it's threaded all the way up ...

Hmmm....not seeing a 14mm with those markings....12mm is the largest in the 05 FSM Standard Bolt chart.

It appears to be an 8T marking with largest bolt being 12mm. with torque of 90 Ft lb that only shows up as brake caliper bolt. Doesn't appear to be long enough for that

FYI: 14mm flange bolt head is probably a 10mm thread size. Thread size is what Toyota lists for specs on torque, not the bolt head size.

If it's a 14mm head on these trucks it's gotta be a 10x1.25 bolt. Not sure where that would come from, hopefully whoever dropped it replaced it!

Check that the driver’s side motor mount bracket isn’t missing any of the 4 bolts that hold it to the block. You should be able to see past the rubber liner in the wheel well…

Wow, thanks everyone for the responses! First time posting here, really impressed with the info, so thanks a bunch! I appreciate all the feedback, I've looked again today, still not seeing anything, I'm gonna get a little extendable mirror and try again tomorrow.
I have found that it's the same type of bolt that holds on my brake fluid reservoir to what it's mounted to, I don't know why it would've been removed but I did have brake work done when I recently had my rear bearing seals re-done.

    Thanks again everyone!

    Pretty much stock
My bet is AC compressor. I know it's near that area and had a few bold with 14mm heads. This might be the bolt in the far back upper end; hard to see and reach.

Have you had the water pump replaced recently?
