Cannot locate a single website where I can search for wheels by load rating. Ridiculous. Anyone know of some wheels that will fit our new lug pattern with good load ratings? Please & thank you

what do you need higher load rating for?

the OEM wheels will carry anything the tundra is rated for.

but if you want to look for something else, there is a MASSIVE wheels and tires thread to search in

Yeah why do you need 3500+ rating? That's HD truck range that typically doesn't come in 6x139.7 pattern from what I've seen.

could try custom offsets website, they list load rating per wheel but you would have to look at every wheel since they dont have a search by load rating.

Even standard 265/70r18 116t load index (2756 lbs per tire at 50 psi) rated tires on the SR5 carry more than the GVWR. If you’re exceeding those values or near them on a regular basis I’d get a 3/4 or bigger truck. Albeit load E tires will tend to wear a little better and offer better puncture resistance. For a 1/2 ton the load carrying isn’t much of an issue with larger tires late model trucks come with from the factory.

You would need to move to a 8 lug wheel design to have a true Load Range E load rating for the wheel.

Most quality aftermarket designs (flow formed or forged) are really only going to exceed the factory wheel load rating by 100-500lbs at most.

Here’s a good source for wheels with a higher load rating so you can haul more weight without worrying:

    https://www.gmc.com/trucks/sierra/2500hd-3500hd

Conveniently the higher load rated wheels also include load range E tires already installed, along with beefier axles, brakes, frame, transmission, and engine.

@Eurodriver might find this useful as well, he’s been on a similar quest.

Look like you found them. Looking for more options than that one? Rear axle is rated for like 4000#, so anything with 2000-2500# rating or more will meet the axle rating. Most I see don't readily list the weight rating, only some sites do.

    lol.

Beadlocks aren't road legal, and you really don't want 40 lb wheels with -44 mm offset. They are in the correct bolt pattern, though!

Why do you think you need such a high load rating for your wheels?

A 6 lug wheel is made for a half ton truck. The load rating of the wheel is designed for a half ton application. There is nothing you should be, or even could do with your half ton truck that would require a 3200 lb per wheel rating. Thats what 8 lug wheels are for. Aka 3/4 and 1 ton trucks. If a wheel has a 2500 lb rating, that is per corner. If your truck has a GVWR of 7,000 lbs, then a 2500 lb rated wheel is more than your truck needs.

Perhaps it's needed for Curb Hopping Mall Crawler so the wheel won't get bent as easy?

Another thread started by an OP with 3 messages total (2 being this thread for @PaintDoctorMD), where OP doesn't want to be questioned to why they are looking for what they are looking for, just give me the answer and I don't want to hear any of the reasons why what I'm looking for doesn't exist...guessing that's the last we'll hear from the OP.

I am sure there is a reason, thought really hard and long for it, I believe it is likely due to a designed weakness, like someone else pointed out, it doesn't make sense to have wheels exceeding axle weight limit, so I am taking a wild guess, it's better to break a wheel and not axle due to carrying more weight.

I do find one from icon alloy for my 2nd gen tundra, which are also what I used before, they look and perform great, unfortunately not for the 3rd gen.
