Hello. I need a radiator for my 2004 Double Cab with the 4.7 L. I tried my Toyota dealer but the radiator listed there says "Without Double Cab". It is part number 16400-0F020. Any ideas? The online system says this fits with my VIN but I find the"Without Double Cab" troubling. Any thoughts about what I should do?

The denso for dads infiniti also showed up from rockauto pristine.

for desert temps, might not be a bad idea to upgrade to aluminum. I've seen several cracked plastic tanks.

I've gotten Denso radiators from Rock Auto for my 4Runner, Tundra, and my mother in law's Suzuki. All were good quality.

@DesertWanderer this page that should apply to your truck: https://parts.toyota.com/a/Toyota_2...08964/RADIATOR--WATER-OUTLET/841420-1603.html

From there, it would seem the Toyota-direct availability for your truck has been discontinued. It was previously p/n 16410YZZAU and/or 164000F030 (Old styling is16410-YZZAU and/or 16400-0F030). The part you listed is for Regular Cab/Access Cab, which is supposed to be a different height.

Any time I run into that, it's likely Denso still makes the part, but Toyota just doesn't list in the catalog. So I go to the Denso website and use the 'Find My Part" funtion. https://www.densoautoparts.com/

That shows for 'crew cab' (i.e. double cab) in 2004 you need Denso part number 221-0518 and don't forget you got a 5% discount with RockAuto, put the Coupon into the "How'd you hear about us?" box and hit ENTER on your keyboard to refresh, this month's code is here.
