StopTech Sport cryo treated and slotted only. Do not get slotted and drilled.

I looked at several places online today. Tire Rack is the cheapest.

Agree with @Tundra234 on rotors, got cryo slotted stoptech from tirerack. Add in akebono performance pads, very low dust and good bite.

Akebono is/was an OE supplier for Toyota brake pads. I don't know about Tundra pads, but from everything I could find, they were nearly identical the OE pads for our old Avalon. Price, appearance, finish, even part numbers were near identical. I ended up with the Akebono's and they worked great.

My stock rotors warped at about 25k miles due to heat then water. I put cryo slotted rotors on with Ebc yellow pads, WOW, big difference. Yellow pads make lots of dust though.
Cryo rotors haven’t warped in same conditions as stock.

I finally pieced together a set of stop tech cryo slotted. Took about 6-7 months. 3 of 4 are on tire rack now. If that is what you want and you can wait get those 3 now and get in the back order for the others. Best case price I found was RCA garage. I just cancelled my back order there.

I'm about to do the same thing. Been considering the Big Brake Kit, will that setup work on the Pro?

Looking online, RCA has some not so favorable reviews, to include the BBB.

After a ton of research, I too bought StopTech Cryo Sport slotted rotors from buybrakes.com for $218 per rotor. Paired those with the NRS Premium Galvanized pads. Got the stainless lines to go with it from SDHQ.

i was hemming and hawing on those... stoptech had their stainless set on sale for a lot less than the price of the SDHQ ones. i think i paid $250 or so for the SDHQ, the stoptech's were $77.

Yeah same, I think I may have seen those too, but it was after I pulled the trigger on the SDHQ kit. The stopping power between OE line and the actual SS line is substantial. Especially when you know it won’t flex the line under pressure/heat.

yeah, the reason i ended up going with the sdhq was due to the extended lines since my truck is lifted over 2 inches over stock. i wanted to make sure i didnt need to exchange anything if i bought the stoptechs.
