The wheels will rotate but I don’t think you can turn with 5” outside of the wheel wells. I think -12 is a max, Tacoma has negative offset these new tundras don’t seem to take to it. I sold all my Tacoma wheels because -18 was too much for me.

anything is possible, but, I'd say it will cost you a lot to run a -38mm offset wheels with 35 inch tires, needs a lot of cutting/trimming, possibly even relocating the body mount.

With a 6” Lift you can probably clear it. I’m running -10 on 35’s with a 3” and the normal clearing of fender liner etc.

Hawaii cats likem wide. I prefer a less aggressive offset. But I do like the wide look. I don’t bash on anyone who chooses either way. To each their own…

Would an offset that great put additional stress on the hubs or bearings?

For sure, anything greater than stock will wear it quicker.

But, its the modding game. Run it till the wheels fall off right? Lol

If you own them already put them on what’s the worst that could happen.

The new F5's coem in a more positive offset and hub size specifically for the new tundra/sequioa. I want these in bronze and possibly 37's too.

The F5's with the -38 setup that OP has were meant for 4runner/tacoma's.

I have the Ray10's with -10 which have the 106 bore menat for the 4runner/tacoma's.

They are meant for 4runner, Tacoma’s and FJ’s. Just due to hub bore and offsets.

But they work perfectly fine for our Tundra’s.

Ordered some Sierra’s from SSW. -25 offset, 17x9. Planning on 35’s with a 3in lift. BMC of course planned as well. You experience any issues with -38 offset? Use to run negative all the time with my Tacoma, but clearly more of a possible issue with Tundras.

I like the look alot. It's just right imo - not like rolliing on lincoln logs or some crazy poke. Would really like the skinny on cost and steps to get something like this on my 2008. -24 specifically - do I go with an aftermarket bumper? Do I get bumper shims? How much cutting and was there any cab mount cutting or relocation. I am currently in that predicament and looking for options and solutions.
