Purchased this vehicle in December to transport our two giant breed dogs around. (Photo taken the same day - it needed a good clean!). I am absolutely loving it.

It’s a bit of a project car. 26OK km. So far, we’ve done the timing belt, water pump, brakes including calipers, brake lines (there was a leak that blew), recovered driver’s seat, new radio. Frame is rusty AF, but seems solid - will tackle in the Spring time (will clean/grind off the rust and coat with paint/rustproofing - hoping there aren’t any really bad bits) Sway bar mount had rusted and broken, so husband fashioned a new mount out of a scrap of metal and bolted to the frame for the interim.

Lower ball joints and rear coil are on their way. Will be replacing the instrument lights etc (“D” is burnt out). You Tube has been a treasure of information on fixing stuff.

Any suggestions on what to tackle next for preventative measures / common issues?

Where are you all from? Tell me about your “tree” and what you love, what has been a headache?

Any must have accessories? I love the “Twistep” for loading my dogs in the back.

Hell, I would OEM everything on that generation Sequoia. They are built like tanks and aftermarket I don't think can touch that quality.

    No problem!

A little tip for a beginner- hit the "quote" and it'll copy and notify the person you're quoting.
