Wanted to share my results those searching.
Stock TRD wheels, 35x12.50r18. I will likely put 18x9 wheels on in the next few weeks but these seem be fine (for those that want to flame 12.50” tires on an 8” wheel) for now.
2” leveling kit, 1.5” wheel spacers, bumper spacers and NO body mount chop.
I have ZERO rubbing, lock to lock.
Really happy with how it looks.

Wheel spacers are a must to avoid hitting the UCAs.
Bumper spacers are a must to avoid hitting the inner fender well.
Both are cheap and easy to do.

Are the spacers a must to avoid rubbing? I have 35's on 18x9, but was thinking the same setup on the OE rims like yours for winter...but not cure it'll clear.

Yes! Good callout. The tires rub on the UCA without.

Good to know. Sweet look on the 35's. Army Green is the best colour

Absolutely the best color. And I’ve only seen 1 other AG in my area so even better.
You could get by with a 1” or 1.25” spacer but I knew the look I wanted called for the 1.5”.

Looks good. Actually, running 12:50 tires on an 8 inch wheel used to be the thing to do if you did any real off-roading. Keeps the bead better when airing down and the bulge helps to better protect the wheel. Ive run plenty of 33x1250 and 35x1250 on 8 to 8.5 inch wheels with no issues and good tire wear.

But times and interests change, now you have people running wheels that stretch the tires wide and will pop a bead on a pothole or curb. What is popular changes, what works well endures.

Pardon my ignorance, what's a bumper spacer?

Leveling kit sits on top of the strut $~$100
    1.5” wheel spacers ~$150
Bumper spacers - I made my own but approx. $~100 from someone else. Haven’t checked prices in a while

Yes, they are 35x12.50r18 installed on stock wheels.

Haven’t had much chance to get properly offroad. The small amount of flex, terrain I have encountered hasn’t called for any drastic turning either so I can’t really comment yet.

How much tire poke do you have from the fender? Can you take a side view picture? Curious what 35x12.5x18 + 1.25 wheel spacers look like.

    Thanks in advance!

I actually just took my stock wheels off today and don’t have a picture down the side of the truck.
HOWEVER my new wheel setup sticks out about 1/2” further. I can take a picture of that tomorrow if you’re interested.

    Level8 18x9 12mm offset. No spacers. A0CED525-4B7F-4960-B5D6-0EBC1580E0C1.jpg
