Just installed the XTR3 from Xtrusion Overland, couldn't be happier...totally customizable, works with just about any bed cover...check em out if you're in the market for a rack!

I have been waiting on an xtr1 for my frontier. Nice to get some additional information from someone that has installed and used one.

You're gonna love it, rack is solid as a rock and finish is excellent...definitely impressed with it so far, can't wait to add all my goodies to it

Man at 1400 bucks what is the benefit of this rack over the UpTop stuff?

The xtr1 is a little bit less. I did look at uptop. The xtrusion rack offers a lot more modularity due to the use of T slot extrusions.

In my case the uptop rack isn’t tall enough, either, as I need to clear the shark fin antenna for my gfc superlite tent. The maximum height uptop offers for my truck is 19” which isn’t even cab height.

Willard basically nailed it, biggest advantages are you can completely customize height/length of Xtrusion, and options for mounting accessories are literally limitless...I mention in the video, your imagination is your only limitation...I have some awesome ideas for my setup which I'll be sharing on my channel if ya wanna check em out...and honestly price isn't that much different...nothing wrong with Uptop at all, I'm sure they're great racks but Xtrusion's design alone is the reason I partnered up with them!...can't wait to get the rack dialed in!

Just viewed the channel, rack looks great. Can’t wait to see the options you will use it for.

How long did it take you to receive yours? I’m coming up on 6 weeks.

This setup looks awesome. Interested for my 23 Tundra. Does the 23inch XTR block the rear camera system? Also, how does the height 23inch work for getting over the sharkfin on the cab if I wanted to put a roof rack on in the future?
Thanks -- enjoying the YT videos on the build!

I'm sorry man, I don't know how I missed your comment!...hopefully you got the rack ok, lemme know if I can help at all!
Thank you, I appreciate it!...so I have the 24" height, it's dead even with my roof rack...works perfectly with camera system, doesn't block view at all...I would imagine the 23" would be ok as well since I have plenty of clearance...hope that helps!

No worries. I did eventually receive mine but am not going to use it. The rack is super nice, no issues, just going a different direction.
