I am getting new brake pads on all 4 corners. Do I need to seat them or do break-in procedure with a few different type of stops at different speeds.

I am replacing my brake pads because I currently have the EBC yellow pads and they are really dusty. I went with the stock brand Acebobo (sp?) brand ceramic pads.

While most say not necessary, I do at least find a nice straight not busy street and bed them in for a short time.

I just do 40-50mph to 10-15mph a few times to get them nice and hot. Then just drive normal to let them cool.

Yes. I would definitely do it.

I start out with 20mph, firm braking not to full stop, then 30... then 40... then 50

Just replaced pads and rotors for my niece. Used brembo blanks which apparently come with some kind of painted coating now. Made some pretty awful grinding/scraping sounds till the bedding process was complete. After bedding, smooth as eggs!
