New Member - 2023 CrewMax Platinum 4x4

Hello fellow Tundra owners,

I just picked up a 2023 platinum 4x4 i-force with 5.5 ft bed in blueprint. Have been waiting 11 months for the same model in midnight black metallic, but took this one when it became available. My vehicles have all been black, so having a blue truck is new to me; just could not wait any longer so had to "compromise". I previously owned a black 2018 platinum from 2018 until 2021, but sold it due to rising value / lack of use during the pandemic.

On the 2023, I have added the TRD running boards and performance exhaust with black chrome tip. Also ordered the rear step (backordered) and tried to get the tonneau cover, but was told it cannot be sold at this time; apparently Toyota Canada has a "stop sell" on them at the moment. So, looking for a non-Toyota cover.

Having 285/60r20 BFGoodrich K02s mounted on the factory rims tomorrow morning. I was thinking about doing a level or lift, but decided the larger light-truck all-terrain tires are enough for now. Not sure if that was the right decision after seeing all of the lifted trucks with 35s on the forum, but hope I like the look tomorrow when done. Also planning to have ppf and ceramic done, but can't get into my preferred installer until end of April or early may.

I am really enjoying the truck so far. The ride is nice, and the blue exterior with the blue ambient lighting / blue stitching goes nicely together. The only disappointment is some rattling in the doors when the base gets loud. There is no point having the 12 speaker JBL stereo system if you can't turn it up. The rattling in the door is annoying. I will ask the dealer about it tomorrow when they do the tire change, but not optimistic they will be able to do anything.

If anyone can help with a recommendation, I am looking to replace the lug nuts with either black or a dark chrome. I would also like to replace the center cover on the rim with something other than the stock cover with the chrome logo. Finally, looking to replace the chrome front logo with a black one. Essentially, looking to get rid of all the light coloured chrome parts on the truck.
