I just received the recall and it said the dealer would adjust the alignment replace certain tire(s) if necessary. FREE OF CHARGE

My factory tires (wildpeak) got unevenly worn, especially front, only 14000km.

i am wondering if Toyota will replace a full set of 4, or just a front pair?

If only the front pair, actually it's not SAFE to have 2 pairs of new and old tires on the truck, as per the mechanic.

Anyone who have done the recall?

One more question: if the factory tires were already replacement due to the worn out, is there any compensation from the dealership?

TRD Pro owners only are getting this notice...case by case depending on truck, miles and wear. Apparently toe and or camber are off from the factory on these only. Let us know how you make out with yours. To say a vehicle is unsafe without equal wear on all 4 tires is a stretch, especially 2wd or part time 4x4. AWD vehicles are more sensitive but equal wear on each axle is fine, you don't want unequal worn on same axle front or rear. Makes me wonder about all the cars I see with a donut tire every day on the highway...

Wow, I don't have a TRD Pro, but rather a TRD Offroad Package and my tires wore incredibly unevenly and only lasted 25,000 miles. Just had an alignment done and 4 new tires. That sucks, wonder if I should have waited?

I too experienced premature wear and feathering on tires and i do not have a TRD Pro. I have a 2022 SR5 Crewmax 4WD

While is SC is specific to the TRD Pro, i think it’s obvious larger problem than that.

I have a Capstone and totally agree. The dealer has re-aligned once already and rotated front to back. Now three thousand more miles and the front tires (from the back) have developed the outside feathering also. They did not have it when moved from the back. Yes, I think the new design front end has something going on that an alignment may not be able to fix.

I had it, too. Non Pro. Mine pulled to the right, fairly hard, and steering wheel was off center while going straight down a flat highway (no crown). I thought it was lane assist (we don’t have great highway markings in a lot of places), but had turned it off when I left the dealership. I had my tire guy realign it at 3k miles, once I noticed how much it had worn that quickly. Been fine, since. I don’t let the dealership align it to their specs. I’ve always gone back to my trusted tire guy anytime a dealership has aligned for any reason and it is always at the outer limits of “in spec”, if not just out.

I was just debating not even bothering with dealership alignment and just going to a 3rd party shop. Just purchased new tires and don’t need them having premature wear.

I just bought my used 2022 1794 over the weekend.
    Back tires are newer Goodyears.
Front tires are showing dry rot on sidewalls near rim. Bridgestone Dueler H/T.
I am going in in two weeks for recalls.
Toyota said they will look at them then.
    I contacted Bridgestone yesterday.
They still have a year of tread left but I am changing them out soon.
    Truck has 15K miles.
    Peace. D

My Trdprro is going in Friday for tires. Due to excess wear, all 4 are being replaced by Toyota. It took almost 2 months to get the tires however.

same here, and i just got my tires (4) replaced in the dealership today.......same line and same size... so i will expect they are going to be worn out in next 20-25k km without the alignment issue.

My front tires on the outside tread wore down quickly and my truck had been aligned at the dealer after I lifted it and installed 35”. I noticed it was slightly camber positive when viewed from the front and Toyota confirmed it was within spec. 23 sr5 trd off road. Traded it in a few weeks ago

Am I understanding this right, you have two different sets of tires on your brand new truck?

2024 Platinum with TRD off road package. 5k service and had them check alignment due to uneven wear and feathering and sure enough, the camber and toe were out of spec (5 out of 8 specs were out of factory setting). My VIN is outside the service bulletin but have been raising hell with dealer, Toyota and some exec contacts. Got a call back today and said they would look into it. At first the Toyota care people told me to call the Falken manufacture as it’s a tire issue. That did not work and have the dealer paperwork and notes showing the alignment issues and tire feathering (dealers words). I also made a claim at NHTSA regarding the alignment and tire wear. The dealer told me that they have seen this not just on TRD Pro’s so will everyone know what I find out.

I had a lot of trouble getting the alignment correct, but now it’s been great. I raised hell at the dealership and they did it for free. It took them 2 tries but they finally hit it. Mine is a TRD OR SR5, but similar situation. You could try another dealer or raised voices.
