    I recently purchased my first Toyota it's a 2005 tundra.
    I love the truck. I purchased a new stereo for it trying to wire it up how do i use the factory amplifier please help me.

    The OEM amps are pretty weak. You'd be better off bypassing it and using the onboard amp on a new head unit.

    You'd need the harness to adapt the radio and a second one the bypass the amp.

    If you want to cut and splice directly, you can skip needing the harness.

    The harness is relatively cheap and is much easier than DIY. Unless you already have 6-7 feet of 8 different wire colors to make your own.

    IIRC the 05/06 OEM wiring diagrams are linked on this site if you search.

    That will provide power to the radio.

    I don't know if the RCA output of an aftermarket radio will be enough or too much signal for the JBL amp. Someone else will have to chime in.


    Or you could wire it and plug it into try it.
