I picked up my new Tundra on Thursday. In January, the dealership found a truck that was scheduled to be built, so I had to wait about 5 weeks for it to come in. The truck is exactly what I was looking for. I bought it from a dealer that was 2 hours from me, and I have to say that I was very pleased with my experience. This is my first Tundra, and I am liking it much more than the 2019 F-150 it replaced. IMG_0358.jpg IMG_0322.jpg

Love the high ceiling garages. Looks clean and organized. Any more pix of the garage?

Congrats! Jealous that you have a garage big enough to fit your truck.

I remember when my garage looked like that right after we built our house. It looks a little different, now, after 25 years. LOL.

Congrats on the new truck, and welcome to the Tundra family!

Push the button with the car backing into the cone and it won't slam on the brakes.

Thank you! I like to take care of my stuff. I bought the house 8 years ago, and it was a new construction home at the time.

Thank you! I have a pretty big garage. If I wanted to, I could pull the truck up more, close the garage, open the tailgate, and I would still be able to walk around the truck.

How did your F-150 treat you? Mine gave me quite a few issues since it was new, so I decided it was time to change brands. My brother had a 2012 Tundra that he just replaced 2 months ago with a new one. His truck treated him very good over the 12 years he had it, so that pretty much made the decision for me.

Thank you! I always buy white or silver. I really like the wind chill pearl. It really looks sharp. I’m going to have a ceramic coating put on it like I did on my last truck. It made it so much easier to wash and keep clean.

That color was my second choice. I went with red, had 2 step paint correct and ceramic pro put on. PPF was put on the hood and couple other places and it does make it much easier to keep clean. This is my 4th vehicle I've had coated and love it. Congrats on your new baby!

Thank you! How are you liking the PPF? I’m interested I having that installed by the same shop that I plan to use to do the ceramic coating. Where did you have them install it on the truck?

Nice looking truck !! The Wind Chill with the standard Limited trim looks great I think. The contrast with the chrome and fender flares just works with the white….

Congrats man all the best with your Rig,BTW nice color:thumbsup:

When your backing into your garage and you start to hear the proximity warnings, just acknowledge it by silencing it and it won't slam on the breaks.
My garage is tiny and the truck nearly fits in it.
    Welcome aboard.

    Congrats and welcome!
I back mine in the garage every day. The garage is juuuust deep enough. Also have the reverse braking button permanently in the "off" position.
I actually attached a bumper pad to the front wall where the rear bumper lines up. I can usually eyeball it with the backup cam to be 1/2" or so away, but if it makes contact, no damage done.
Just enough room to get around the front.
