Nightshade Edition has Sequoia wheels.

Anyone notice that the 20" wheels on the new Nightshade Edition uses the old 20" Sequoia wheels that have been blacked out.

 

Yep, seems Toyota likes to recycle wheels and swap between models/trims over the years.
Just sold some stock wheels off an 07 Sequoia to a guy with a newer GX470 and the wheels were identical to his (unless maybe he already had Toyota wheels on his Lexus?).
The old style TRD Pro wheel became the latest TRD OR wheel, with a little added machining.
I bet if you look around you'll probably find other examples of this that they hoped no one would notice.

 

We just bought a new nightshade tonight it came with a little different ones.

 

The 4Runner would have different wheels, because it has 6 lugs instead of 5. The Sequoia and Tundra wheels wouldn't be compatible.

 

TFL was doing a review of the Nightshade Edition and was talking about the 20" wheels. I had just powder coated a set of Sequoia wheels for my truck and was surprised to see the same rim on the Nighshade.
