    Thanks Mater!

Yeah, I have no idea about cameras either so I'm looking to sell it. It was my sister's.

If you do wanna give it a try, you'll find that this one seems to be a great beginners cameras. At least that's what I've gathered from others in here and on OfferUp where I have it listed.

Oh, and this money is gonna have to go towards the new tires to go with my lift sitting on the shelf :yay:

The Nikon D90 is a great beginner camera.

The D90 has AUTO mode, so you can just point and shoot if you'd like. But don't let all the functions scare you, really just the full manual mode can get you into trouble. 90% of the time I shoot in Aperture mode, I set the aperture I want and let the camera set the shutter speed to expose the image correctly. I really only use full manual when I'm shooting at night with long shutter speeds, using off camera flash and a couple other select times.

I started with a D80 and moved up to the D90, had both of those for years before finally getting a D750 full frame camera. Gave the D80 to my BIL but still have the D90.

Small side note, that lens has VR, use that when shooting hand held but turn it off when shooting from a tripod. VR helps reduce camera shake from you but will fight itself when it's stationary on a tripod.

    GLWS
