After a day playing in the snow, whipping shittys and what not, I have no throttle response when I put it in any gear. When its in neutral I can rev the engine but as soon as I put it in gear, I have no throttle. The vehicle does go into gear because it will move if I let off the brake but will not even try to accelerate. I read similar issues on here but they sounded like the throttle was cutting out, from what I was reading. This is not the case for me. Someone mentioned a "yaw and chop" sensor. That would make sense since as I stated I was doing doughnuts. Is there some way to reset this sensor? Or maybe someone has another idea on what the problem might be? Any guidance will be appreciated. Almost forgot, 2010 tundra.

Maybe disconnect battery for 20 minutes? That would reset any electronic systems.

Whatever it was, it fixed itself overnight.

That's good. FYI if you overheat your transmission goofy things will happen even if it's cold out.

I had an issue like this with a wheel speed sensor. You could hit the gas and nothing, but put it in neutral or park and it would rev. I bet some snow knocked it a little and messed it up. I ended up putting some armorer on them to protect them. The fronts are the ones that usually get hit.

Thanks for the info. That would make sense. I'll have to take a look the next time I'm under the truck.

If you can I would also see if you had any codes thrown.

Snow does weird things. Was duck hunting with a friend on a snowy day. We stopped in a store to get a cup of coffee and when pulling out his truck did the same thing. Of course we were blocking both lanes of traffic and with snow on the road and a trailer we weren't going to push it. Got lucky when a guy with a strap was able to pull us back into the store's parking lot. Long and boring day. The next day it worked fine. Best we could figure is water got into an electrical connector causing the computer to see a bad signal. Once the water dried up everything was fine again.
