Noco air inflators

Has anyone tried one of these? I didn't even know they had them. Maybe they will go on sale for BF.

Noco usually goes on sale twice maybe three times a year. They were on sale one day (1st day) during the summer Prime Day, didn't see them during the October one.
They might have one during Black Friday or November, but usually again, one day only.

Their battery charger is excellent, jumper is superior to those that I have, even jumped a diesel van in a Costco parking lot for a random stranger.

Air compressors, not so sure, can't figure out if they have metal gears or plastic, if plastic, those are easy to break under heat, especially if you are airing a bigger tire for longer period of time.
But metal gears are real hard to find and are pricey. Noco is also selling by its name, thus, price.
It does say solid metal compressor, but not sure if it is just the body or the actual parts.
But that price $199.95 (AIR20) would be hard to swallow, even if BF offers 25% at $149.95 would still be on the high side.

So during October Prime Day it looks like it dropped to $135.95 (30%), maybe it will be that price again?

 

I'll have to dig into it and see what I can find out. They do make good products though. I have 2 of the GB40's, a Geniuos 2, and a Genious 10.

 

Let us know, would be interesting to see if those are indeed worth $200 a piece.
I have owned a few of NOCO, and they are indeed good quality, but sometimes the price can be high...

 

I like Noco products - use several genius 1s for atvs-mowers. I have a cheapo chinese inflator-jumper combo. Noco would kill the market if they went 3 Way - Jumper/Charger/Inflator.

 

But at a price. Granted, I have air compressor gone out in about 2 years, but at least they are sub $50 and easy to replace.
If Noco at $200 it better outlast the dinos.....

 

Nice, metal gears do get hit but also dispate heat fast too. Also metal gears last longer under stress.

I'm not constantly airing up 40" tires from 8 psi after wheeling, but for my purposes so far I like it very much.

Nice to be able to just set it next to the tire you need without needing to plug it in or clip to a battery. Trailer tires used to be a pain with the 12V plug-in compressor I had 'cuz it didn't reach from truck to trailer tires.

I've taken trailer tires from 30 to 50 psi and it's pretty quick.

Dial it to desired pressure and just hit start, it shuts off at set psi.

 

Just got delivered.....

Ordered this morning and just arrived; very heavy and seems well built. Kind of surprised that there isn’t a quick detach to the clamps like there is on the jump packs. But for the money I am sure it will do the job.

 

I haven't opened mine yet but it does have some weight to it. It's definitely at the lowest price. It's cheaper now than it was on Black Friday.

 

I had a small pelican case lying around that fits this and my boost jump pack. Pretty convenient bundle when you need it

 

I have a couple of off brand cases...good idea.
