I installed the K&N cold Air Intake into my 2016 Tundra and now it whistles when I mash the gas. I called the company to see if there’s fix for this but the person I spoke with said that’s the air rushing into the valve. Sounds great but I still want to get rid of the sound. Does anyone have a hack for this.

Sorry to say its normal for these types of intakes.
You could try covering the top and making a "sealed" box, but idk if that will get rid of it completely.

It’s the throttle body gasket that on certain year models has a piece of mesh over it. You can cut it out or there was a replacement gasket on another forum that is OEM for the Sequoia that works and it has no mesh.

    LED headlamps/fogs; interior footlamps.
That's the Turbo Simulation Mode you've got it set to, change it to Stealth Mode (factory OEM)....

I think covering it will reduce the roar, I don’t mind the roar though it’s he hissing/whistling sound that I wanna get rid of.

    Curse you Perry the Platypus!
Go back to the factory air intake and just get a K&N or TRD filter. Same thing but will be quieter. I'd love to get the TRD CAI but I can't bring myself to spend that kind of money just for looks.

I’ve spent a lot of money on this setup, gotta find a way to make it work. :)

From my experience with K&N, or like CAI's, that's the nature of the beast. I personally liked the whistling sound, but that was on tuner cars and an F150 that I had them on last. If I go CAI on my Tundra, I'll go TRD.

Do not remove the gasket.....two options.....you can cut the mesh out and re install or you can order a new one that does not have the mesh. I cut mine out and reinstalled

It’s hard to like this whistling sound but again some people like the drone from their exhaust.
Variety is the spice of life :)
