The Nokian LT3 315/70R17 Tires have arrived. Despite looking very FAT in most pictures, the tread width measures just a pinch under 9 5/8” or 245 mm. My 285/65R18 Nitto Terra Grapplers are actually a smidge wider. Now, would something at least 1” narrower be better on the road? Yes. Would something an inch or two wider be better off road? Again, yes. Happy medium. Let’s mount em’ up and go push some some snow!

I just put on some studded Hakka's as well and we ended up having the driest Nov/first week of Dec in almost 50 years so the roads are still bone dry where I live. That said, I've heard nothing but good feedback about the Hakka's so I'm confident that when winter finally arrives, they'll end up performing well for you. I'm convinced that because I spent almost $5000.00 between tires and a brand new snowblower this fall, that winter is taking it's sweet time arriving in our area....

Pictures will be supplied asap. I have run studded LT3 Hakkas in the 285/70R17 size on my wife’s LC. Very happy with the tire all around.
