Does anyone have these tires and any updates or reviews on them and their performance? These things look good and have a good brand reputation. They are also still fairly new so I am wondering if they are actually available anywhere.

In Ohio (Dayton Region)- Grismer Tire and their affiliate shops will have them.
Looks like they run about $265.00 a tire.

Just rotated today at 8k miles. Still quiet, smooth, and look awesome! Mileage showing a little lower, but I think that's size difference, not actual decrease in mileage...could be wrong, but I don't care, like'em!

Oh, a neat trick, I noticed they've got '40 60 80' embedded in the tread as tread life remaining indicators. I don't know if other tires have that, but I thought it was clever.

How do they feel driving in the rain/heavy downpour?

I saw a post over on the Tacoma forum, and some are saying they are a bit sketchy in the rain :/

No hydroplaning or anything, but did notice they'll pull more to one side than the OE Michelins did, if you hit deep water on that side, at speed (like several inches of flooding from the side of the road in a downpour). I figure a function more of being a bit wider than anything.

And I remember once it spun off the line on right turn in the rain, and I wasn't flooring it or Haul Ass mode or anything.

I’m not nay-saying, but these are only $6 less per tire than Falkens in the 285/75-18 size I want. $380 compared to $386 from Discount.

The 60,000 mile warranty sounds good, but that’s not enough more than the 55K on Falkens to sway me.

How are they so light? That is the one part that has me intrigued…. Are they really that light? Crazy difference if it’s correct, but I also wonder what the trade off is. No tire company is going to just make a tire heavy AF just because, right?

Falkens are still riding off their reputation from several years ago but they changed the compound and place of origin and their prices went up when they became trendy. I am betting that the Nokian is twice the tire the Falkens are now.

You may be right, Steve. Time will be the only way this can be confirmed though.

Bumping an old thread, but the weight comment is what has me looking into these now. Any more experiences with them? We're talking 12# or more per tire for comparable AT's.

My neighbor just bought a set. They ride nice and are quite.
I bought some used rims that had these on them before I bought them, and I was really surprised that there were so many weights on the rims from balancing these. (18")
