have an 08 SR5. been driving fine. stopped at a store earlier, came back out and truck does not crank. cleaned the battery posts, battery putting out 12.3v. no crank, nothing. just a "click" and thats it. tried jumping it, nothing. same thing. didn't see any bad fuses. will go through them all tomorrow and check for continuity. thinking it's the starter. anyone else have this problem?

    Starter solenoid/contacts are shot.

Wonder if Toyota offers rebuild kits like those crappy "Merica" trucks?

I know this one! Yes, it is the starter. It happened to my '07. The only problem I've had with it.

Open circuit battery voltage of 12.3V means nothing. If you measured that while the key was turned to the start position, then it's meaningful. Start with a battery load test. If the battery is good then the solenoid contacts would be the most likely.
