Howdy! May I impose upon the community for some feedback/help - please, let me know if I've missed anything here or if my assumptions are incorrect:

I recently purchased an aftermarket OBD to Mini-USB cable (Amazon) to power this dashcam (also Amazon), but immediately encountered trouble using the Remote Start feature via my key-fob. The dealership told me that the OBD power source, since it was drawing constant power was interfering with the Remote Start system. I get the impression that the antenna for the Remote Start is in the OBD sensor; can anyone confirm or know anything about this? Sure enough, if I unplug from the OBD, the Remote Start works perfectly.

    1. Other than using the OBD port as a source of power, I was unable to find any fuses or another readily available constant source of power (since I want the dashcam to have power all the time) in the cabin. This leads me to believe that I will need/should just run power for the dashcam directly to the battery.

    2. In so doing, I plan to add a fusebox like this one for minor connections; namely:
    1. Dashcam
    2. Chase rack floodlights
    3. Chase rack spotlights
    4. Amber fog lights
    5. Rear flood/spotlight
    6. Driver side floodlight
    7. Passenger side floodlight
    3. Since the winch requires a higher gauge cable than the other accessories, I assume this means it cannot be run off of one of those same fuses (example). I eventually plan to add this Blue Sea Systems switch to connect the front bumper's winch directly to the battery. I will therefore need to swap the stock battery terminal leads for multi-cable terminal leads like these; yes?

So then, I think, the end state I am seeking should be something like this (feel free to ridicule the quality of my drawing skills):
