Was on the Toyota parts online store and they list two different model numbers for the engine air filter. #17801-F4010 and #17801-YZZ17, both of which say it fits my 2023 Tundra hybrid. There's about a $10 price difference between the two. Although it doesn't state it, could one be the TRD filter?

17801-F4010 is the OE replacement and will be identical to what was factory installed.

17801-YZZ17 is the MVP (value line) replacement.

Both are Toyota parts made by Denso, but the value line sometimes have less media. Usually, the pleats are not as deep.

Is it the same thing with the oil filters too? 90915-10010. Vs 90915 yzzf1 ?

Not sure there. Toyota usually offers only one oil filter at the dealer level.

The latest literature still shows 10010 as the correct filter. It would not surprise me if it has similar specs as an existing filter (YZZF1), and Toyota has authorized YZZF1 as a substitute. Seems there was supply issues for a while with the 10010 filter.

One oil filter came with the truck and the others are the ones available through the dealer.
I purchased the originals ones that came with the truck. Working fine.

I just bought a 2025 Tundra Limited and it came with the TRD air filters. I’ve had lots of experience with K&N air filters for many years. We live in the dusty west and I’ve had K&N’s on my motorcycle in the east coast with no issues. Moved west 11 years ago and the K&N’s leak fine dirt through so I’ve switched to stock style filters that don’t leak dirt.
I would like to use a WIX filter on the Tundra and ask if anyone else is suspect of the dirt leak through as I am?

Thank you in advance for all your help.

I can't find pics for the two P/N's you gave but I can show you the BS Toyota did with the value line for the 5.7L. I'm sure you can guess which is the original and which is the value garbage they try to push you towards. Also be care of the dealer putting in the value one and charging for the original.f6f7056956308009aea406167f64bb27.jpg s-l1600.jpg
