Here’s the deal. I want to short box my double cab and am too cheap to buy a shortbox and too impatient for one to come up for trade. I’m thinking I’ll cut my box at roughly the red line for simplicity sake. I would lose the body lines circled in green if so (for simplicity sake). I
Would do this by splitting the bedside apart from the inside panel and cutting it to match the cab line, then reattach. Will my truck look silly without the end of the body lines or will it even be noticed?

Note to take into account: This won’t look like a hack job I promise. Also, this isn’t your fancy shiny rollin on dubs Tundra. This is your scrape it off trees and occasionally get air time Tundra....

Pretty sure they used a real short box instead of cutting...
