Just got my 23 trd pro and was wondering what are peoples opinions on bass, treble, mid settings? Also is the surround sound option good to have on?

I listen to mostly rock and metal, but I dabble other genres also.

I have the JBL. I found that the biggest improvement to my ears was to shut off the surround sound feature. I left the treble, mid range and bass at the factory settings.

+ 1. I have the JBL also. Really improved by turning off the surround sound. I've got everything else at factory settings. The bass can be a little muddy depending on the mix of the song being played.

I didn’t spend the money to just swap out stuff.
Some panel shakes on my left and on top/behind my head, volume at 20 lol and it sounds like all the bass comes from the front. Must be that surround sound shit, I'll give it a try.

The best audio setting for (any) Toyota vehicle that I have found thus far is this:
Turn the Volume dial to "0", roll down your windows, and listen to the music from a car next to you, at a traffic light.
